Megan Braverman, DPT

Specialization: Postural dysfunctions and core training, vestibular rehabilitation including BPPV, sports and orthopedic injuries and postoperative care, neurological rehabilitation for chronic conditions such as stroke, muscular sclerosis, and Parkinson’s disease.

Megan's passion for physical therapy stems from personal experience with Pilates and its positive impact on her life.

She gained confidence and relieved chronic neck and shoulder pain through Pilates courses she took while studying at the Sorbonne in Paris. She has studied and practiced movement theory ever since.

“I want to be able to show others how to improve their mind and body connections to become stronger individuals,” she states.

Megan graduated from the University of Hawaii with a Bachelor of Arts in French and Theater. In 2013 she graduated with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Lynchburg College, Lynchburg, VA.

Throughout her career Megan has taught Pilates for rehabilitation and injury prevention to high-level dancers and other sports enthusiasts.

She now specializes in postural dysfunctions and core training, vestibular rehabilitation including BPPV, sports and orthopedic injuries, general post-operative care, and chronic neurological conditions.

Megan is currently en route to becoming certified in Functional Manual Therapy through the highly esteemed Institute of Physical Art, based in Steamboat, CO. She uses manual skills to re sculpt the musculoskeletal and fascial structures of the body to facilitate optimum movement patterns for long-term health gains.

Outside of her work, Megan enjoys Salsa and Swing Dancing, eating gelato, and spending time with her family.
