Meet the Team

The loss of function in one of your hands, acute or chronic hand pain and sensitivity following nerve injury or trauma can severely impact on your quality of life. Our Occupational Therapists can help.

As with all our programs, we look holistically at the big picture as we study the source of your pain, injury or discomfort.

We will create customized treatment plans that will take into account your individual abilities, the tasks you need to perform and your work and living environments.

Our goal is to return you to your normal living as quickly as possible.

We do this by helping you improve your range of motion, flexibility, fine motor coordination, dexterity and overall use of your hand and upper extremity.

We offer specialized services such as custom splinting and therapeutic activities that will enhance your progressive treatment.

“They look at the whole picture when it comes to a patient’s treatment – the individual’s abilities, the task to be performed, and the environment in which the task takes place,” she said.

“I enjoy that our goal as an occupational therapist is to enhance an individual’s activities of daily living despite injuries to the hand and upper extremity. It is satisfying to help patients return to maximum functional independence for the activities of daily living, leisure and work-related tasks.”
