At the Hand Clinic, we focus on the whole picture, not just the particular injury. Our occupational therapists create treatment plans that take into account each patient’s individual abilities, the tasks they need to be able to perform, and their work and living environments. Our goal is to return every patient to maximum functional independence as quickly as possible.
Our patients will improve range of motion, strength, flexibility, fine motor coordination and overall functional use of the hand and upper extremity. Specialized services such as custom splinting and therapeutic activities are used to enhance each patient’s progressive treatment.
In the field of hand therapy, the credentials (CHT) Certified Hand Therapist, distinguish an Occupational Therapist as someone with the highest professional expertise in the specialty of hand therapy. Earning the designation of CHT places the individual in an elite group of specialists who have met the standards set by experts in the field of Hand Therapy.
