Specialization: Prevention, intervention, treatment and sport specific rehabilitation of orthopedic and sports related injuries for high school student athletes.
Cassie is originally from Pittsburgh, PA where she was a Junior Olympic gymnast until the start of her college career. Being surrounded by athletics her whole life guided her choice to major in Athletic Training at Kent State University. While at Kent State, Cassie worked with a number of Division One athletic teams, as well as, high school student athletes and patients in a rehabilitation clinic. She also served on the Ohio Athletic Training Student Senate as the Sponsorships and Donations Co-Chair.
Her passion for learning and education drove her to further expand her knowledge by obtaining her Master’s Degree in Athletic Training from the University of Kentucky. In addition, Cassie worked as the Head Athletic Trainer for Sayre School, a small private high school in downtown Lexington.
Currently, Cassie will be working with the student athletes at The Covenant School as the Head Athletic Trainer.
In her free time, Cassie enjoys spending time with her family and friends, exploring her new home (Charlottesville), reading a good book and the occasional Netflix binge!
