Maggie Lynch, M.Ed., ATC
Specialization: Prevention, assessment, and management of sports-related injuries, emergent care of musculoskeletal injuries, and lower extremity rehabilitation including sport specific return to play post injury.
Maggie Lynch developed an interest in athletic training when she got injured playing soccer in high school and knew it was a perfect mix of athletics and helping others. She started her schooling at Penn State University where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training.
After graduating and passing the BOC exam, Maggie attended The University of Virginia where she earned a Master of Education in Kinesiology with a concentration in Athletic Training. During her time at UVA, Maggie worked as a graduate assistant at Charlottesville High School.
Since coming to work at PT @ ACAC, She is currently the assistant athletic trainer at Charlottesville High School. Go Black Knights!
Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, reading, baking, and spending time with family.
