PT@acac's Jodie Stellern, MPT, Cert TPDN, Physical Therapist and EDS/POTS/MCAS Specialist visited Washington, DC with a group from the Bobby Jones CSF Foundation https://bobbyjonescsf.org/. 

The purpose of the visit was to lobby for better healthcare for people with chronic illness, particularly EDS (Ehlers-Danlos syndrome), a group of inherited disorders affecting connective tissues, primarily the skin, joints, and blood vessel walls, and for CSF (cerebrospinal fluid) leaks.

Members of the delegation visited their individual Senators and House of Representatives reps. Jodie was able to visit VA Senator John Warner's office and his staff office, and had a visit with VA Senator Tim Kaine as well.

We are so proud and appreciative of the efforts of our amazing care providers both in their clinic settings helping patients feel and function better, and who also dedicate their time to advocating for patients with our elected lawmakers.
