New PT at acac Clinic in Waynesboro

Opening in January 2021

DECEMBER 15, 2020 • WAYNESBORO, VIRGINIA

Physical Therapy at acac (PT@acac) is excited to announce they will open a new clinic to serve patients in the Waynesboro area in January, 2021.

Physical Therapy at acac’s newest facility will include physical therapy treatment areas and some therapy-related fitness equipment in a space adjacent to Sentara Healthcare’s new walk-in clinic, Sentara Primary Care, located at 760-B Town Center Drive, Waynesboro, VA 22980.

PT@acac’s Waynesboro location is its 6th clinic location to open during its 18 years of operation. The new location in Town Center Shopping Center is its first clinic location in the Shenandoah Valley.

“We’re thrilled to open this new location, and expand into the Valley with our patient care model,” says Kim Starr, PT, Executive Director of PT@acac. “Our patients can expect to have consistent care teams each visit, therapists who see one patient at a time, more quality time with their therapist, and stronger relationships for better outcomes.”

“Hands-on treatment is a cornerstone of Physical Therapy at acac, at all of our locations, and in every mode of treatment,” says Starr. “Our goal is to ensure patients receive manual and exercise-based care to maximize the benefits of their treatment with us, and we encourage independence of care through exercise.”

From the beginning of the COVID-19 Corona virus pandemic in early 2020, PT@acac has been able to continuously treat patients. The team immediately implemented heightened safety measures in all five of their current clinic locations that meet or exceed CDC Guidelines when issues with the spread of COVID-19 became a concern, and they continue to be steadfast in protecting patient and team health.

The PT@acac team plans to use these stringent safety measures in their new Waynesboro location when they open in January, and maintain them for the foreseeable future.

PT@acac Waynesboro will treat:

• Back/Neck

• Shoulder

• Knee

• Foot/Ankle

• Hip and more

PT@acac Waynesboro will offer:

• Private Treatment Rooms

• Latest Exercise Equipment

• Specialized training areas for PT clients

• General Orthopedics

• Sports Related Injuries

• Post Surgical Rehab

• Joint Replacement Rehab
