PT@acac’s Certified Hand Therapists provide specialized, skilled hands-on care to individuals with simple to complex upper extremity conditions or injuries. Our team will work with you to create an individualized program to restore function to your shoulder, arm, elbow, forearm, wrist, and hand and help you return to work, life, and athletics as soon as possible.

Hand Therapy can be used to treat a variety of conditions and injuries, including:
- Tendonous Injuries and Surgical Repairs
- Arthritis
- Fractures of hand/wrist/arm/shoulder
- Nerve Injuries and Compressions
- Tendonitis
- Repetitive Stress Injuries
- Tumors or Cysts
- Chronic or Regional Pain Syndrome
- Shoulder Pain/Post Op Shoulder Rehabilitation
- Amputations and prosthetic training
Our goal is to restore function to your shoulder, arm, elbow, forearm, wrist, and hand through comprehensive, industry leading therapeutic treatments. Treatments may include:
- Custom splints
- Therapeutic taping
- Hands-on-manipulation of joints or soft tissue
- Wound and scar care
- therapeutic exercise
- home exercise program
- ergonomic assessments
In addition to patient care, hand therapists often assist providers by performing clinical testing to identify or confirm a diagnosis.
Our CHTs have received advanced training consisting of more than 4,000 clinical hours and have passed board certification testing by the Hand Therapy Certification Commission.
Additionally, our CHTs add certifications to their skill sets through ongoing education. They are committed to remaining current on the latest research and advancements, ensuring that we are using the most up-to-date techniques.
