The local Charlottesville area Walk to End Alzheimers will take place on Saturday, October 21, 2023 at Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital, 400 Martha Jefferson Dr., Charlottesville, VA 22911.
PT@acac team members are passionate about the Walk to End Alzheimers, and we've formed a walk event team! Our Team name is Physical Therapy @ ACAC. We invite anyone wishing to walk with us to join our team.

PT@acac's Outreach Coordinator, Ryan Gray (ryang@acacpt.com), is taking point on organizing PT@acac's walk team.
"PT@acac team members who officially register to join the team for the walk we will receive a special Physical Therapy @ ACAC Walk to End Alzheimerss team T shirt," says Ryan "but to receive a special team t-shirt, you must have registered by Wednesday October 11."
"For anyone who wants to bring a friend or family member they must register for the event as well," Ryan continues. "Make sure you let us know so we can make sure they get a t shirt as well!"
Ryan shares these details about Walk logistics:
When: October 21st, the site opens at 9am and Promise Garden Ceremony at 10am with the walk starting right after.
Where: Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital (400 Martha Jefferson Dr, Charlottesville, VA 22911)
Route: About 2 mile walk through the paths around the hospital and crossing over to the outpatient center and then back to the event site.
Place to meet: Parking will be at 400 Martha Jefferson Dr. Charlottesville VA, this will lead right to the check in.
This is a rain or shine event so keep an eye out on the weather as we get closer! Of course with the exception of severe weather, they will reschedule to a later date.
